Silver City Museum

In the historic H.B. Ailman House. Frontier, mining, and community history with rotating exhibits and a well-curated gift shop.

The Ailman House (1881) anchors the museum’s permanent collection — a former banker’s mansion converted to a museum in 1967 after decades as a city building.

Rotating exhibitions, an oral-history archive, and an excellent local-author bookshop. Free admission (donations encouraged).

Tuesday–Saturday hours; verify current schedule via the museum site before you go.
