The Seed
The Seed is a token of potential and patience. A symbol of what is planted in you that will grow in its own time, according to its own nature.
Potential, patience, and what will grow
A seed does not look like what it will become. It is small, hard, seemingly inert. Yet within it is the full pattern of the tree, the flower, the fruit. The Seed is a token of this hidden potential โ the reminder that what is planted in you is already on its way to becoming, even when nothing is visible yet.
The Seed does not rush. It waits for the right conditions. It trusts the soil, the water, the light. It does not force itself upward prematurely. And in this patience, it teaches the most difficult of lessons: that growth cannot be hurried, only tended.
What This Token Represents
The Seed symbolizes potential that is not yet realized. It is the assurance that something is developing, even when you cannot see it. It represents the gap between planting and harvest โ the long middle where faith is required because evidence is absent.
It also represents trust in natural processes. The Seed does not try to grow through willpower. It simply places itself in the conditions that allow growth and lets the process unfold. This is its wisdom.
When It Might Appear
The Seed may appear when you are at a beginning. When something new has been planted in you โ an idea, a hope, a direction โ and it is too early to see results. The Seed reminds you that invisibility is not the same as absence. What is planted is growing.
It may also appear when you are impatient. When you want to see fruit before the flower has even opened. The Seed invites you to honor the season you are in, not the season you wish for.
What Receiving This Token Means
To receive the Seed is to be told: "Something is growing in you." You may not know yet what it will become. You may have to wait longer than feels comfortable. But the potential is real. The pattern is set. Your job is not to force the growth, but to provide the conditions.
It means faith in the unseen. Trust that the soil knows what to do. Trust that you contain within you everything needed for what is trying to emerge.
How to Hold This Token
Hold the Seed gently. It is not something to grip or force. Feel its weight in your palm โ small, but not insignificant. Remember that this tiny form contains an entire future. Let that ease your impatience.
Plant it. Not literally โ but in your intention. Place it in the soil of your attention and water it with presence. Then wait. Not passively, but actively trusting. The Seed will do what seeds do.
