Authenticity & Item Description Policy
Last Updated: June 27, 2026
I want listings to be accurate, honest, and easy to understand. This policy explains how I describe items, how I handle authenticity claims, and what happens when a listing needs more context.
Guiding rule: Photos, title text, and written notes should work together to describe the item. If you are unsure about authenticity or a listing detail, contact me before purchasing.
1. Description Standards
I try to describe each item in straightforward language without exaggeration. Listing details should reflect what the item is, what condition it is in, and what comes with it.
- Item type, material, size, and visible characteristics are described as accurately as possible
- Known defects, repairs, or replacements are disclosed when observed
- Any uncertainty is stated plainly rather than guessed away
- Titles are meant to support the description, not override obvious visual evidence
2. Authenticity Expectations
For vintage, collectible, or branded items, I describe authenticity based on the best information I have at the time of listing. If an item is described as original, genuine, or authentic, that claim is made in good faith from my review of the item and its supporting details.
If an item appears to be a reproduction, replica, reprint, or otherwise non-original, I will disclose that when I know it. When I cannot confidently verify authenticity, I avoid overstating the claim.
3. Listing Photos Are Part of the Description
I expect buyers to review the photos carefully. Photos may show close-ups of wear, labels, markings, or other identifying details that are not practical to fully explain in the title line.
If there is a conflict between a headline and the photos, please ask before purchase so I can clarify the intended meaning of the listing.
4. Corrections and Clarifications
If I discover that a listing needs correction, I may update the title, description, or photos to make the item representation more accurate. If you already ordered the item and have a question about that change, contact me right away.

5. Buyer Questions
If you need extra photos, measurements, provenance notes, or clarification before buying, email me and I will answer as clearly as I can.
