A convivial benedict, on retiring at a late
hour, was greatly chagrined to find the room
spinning around in divers directions, and with
this sensation there was yet another of the mal
de mer order. His spouse said nothing until the
following morning when she aroused her liege
lord with the question, “David, where do you
