A cutting scrape took place Wednesday
night in Martin’s saloon at Pinos Altos, in which
“Mississippi Tom” was the principal participa-
tor. He proceeded to carve up the whole crowd,
and succeeded in severely cutting Johnny Mar-
tin and four or five others. The constable ar-
rested the fellow, who afterwards procured a
revolver and with it made his escape.
