Notes: Abstract of letters, page 1, in English, sent to William G. Ritch from March 20 - April 2, 1878 regarding the disorder in Lincoln County, New Mexico, chronology, notes by Ritch. Lincoln County War. Followed by a Spanish citation from the Biblioteca Hispano Americana literary catalogue, 1816; opposite some address of people Ritch new; followed by notes in English on a letter by W. M. Arny to the Secretary of State, Washington, D.C. about Thomas B. Catron mixing up the testimony on the Una de Gato Land Grant, was not a proper legal advisor; and some notes in Spanish on Juan de Onate. HL introduction page overlaid by document.
