Deputy Sheriff Parks left with his prison-
ers for Arizona early yesterday morning. When
taken from the jail the thieves displayed the
usual insolent braggadocia characteristic of
such characters. One of them said: “What,
you ain’t going to take us back in that old
hack, are you? I want that white horse of mine.
He’s a daggoned good one.” A bystander re-
marked that a little hemp would suit the young
man pretty well. The thieves are sure of a
long term in the penitentiary at Yuma. The
country would be better off if more such
captures were made.
