Mr. Bruesch, who is in the butcher business, noticing that the woman was in a delicate condition, gave her $5 to pay her fine, and remarked that her treatment had been too harsh and severe, whereupon an order for his arrest was issued. Coming into the room where court was to be held with his hat on, he was fined for another contempt, fines and costs amounting to $17. Mr. Bruesch offer- ed to give bonds and appear which was refused and he was given the option of paying or going to jail. He accordingly paid the $17 for which he holds a receipt.โ€
