TTA FE NEW XICAN VOL 45 SANTA FE NEW MEXICO THURSDAY JULY 1 1908 NO 131 HNS WEI COME SUCK Delegate Warmly Greeted Upon Visit There NEXT CONCLAVE AT LOUISVILLE Kentucky Mertopolis Captures 1909 Gathering of Imperial Council of Mystic Shrine PEOPLE TURNOUT EN MASSE Enthusiastic Reception Held at Court House Veterans as Guard of Honor Special to the New Mexican Taos N M July 1C The south bound Denver and Rio Grande train Tuesday last carried Delegate W H Andrews who had been In Tlerra Am arllhi and Rio Arriba counties on a political and social visit The train reached the Servilleta station at one oclock In the afternoon Conveyances awaited the delegate and they started immediately overland for Taos the county seat At Arroyo Hondo fifteen miles northwest of Taos a large dele gation of prominent citizens of the county mounted and in buggies met Delegate Andrews and received him very cordially with much handshak ing Many of the members of the dele gation carried flags and banners and thus Mr Andrews was escorted to the town of Taos where many people were assembled to meet him The wel come was very hearty and spontane ous Reception at
