excitement prevaling in some sections over the National Live stock association at Fort Worth Texan
In relation to the leasing of the public lands to the United States the following omcial statement
la made of said action for tbe information of the public The land leading question came up in the
shape of the following resolution Itasolvad Tbat such of the public lands of tbe United S ates as
are adapt ed for grazing should be subject to lease by stockmen who are citizens at a reasonable
rental and under such conditions as will tend to preserve tbe grasses from destruction and improve
the value of the grasses thereon This resolution was presented to the ccnveotlon
