On page 1 of the book provided for this
purpose by the commissioners of this county, it
appears that $33,000.00 in bonds were issued
July 1st, 1889, to take up a corresponding
amount of court house bonds and funding bonds
of 1882. The amount of bonds is falsely stated,
there being at that time only $30.00 of these
bonds outstanding, while the record shows that
there were $33,000 outstanding. A large num-
ber of warrants are described as to number and
amount on page 1 and 2 of this record, but are
put down entirely without reference to the
bonds for which they were exchanged, so that
