Ruins, Fort Seldon

Description: Fort Seldon ruins; Ft. Seldon was established in 1865 to protect settlers and travelers in southern New Mexico against raids by the Gila Apaches. Today the Fort stands in ruins along US Highway 85 near Radium Springs in southern New Mexico.
