sions he  would  have  played  sad  havoc  with  the
Indians  but  for  the  compromising  orders  of
General  Crook.  He  became  disgusted  with
Crook’s  method  of  campaigning,  resigned  from
the  army  and  has  ever  since  been  connected
with  the  Corralitos  company.
