the railroad station, and
thence to the hospital in this city, where he
received every attention possible up to the time
of his death which occurred Tuesday evening
at 4 oโclock. The funeral took place the follow-
ing day, and was largely attended by citizens
of this place.
Morris Cloney was a typical western cow-
man ; kind, brave and generous to a fault, and
a true friend under all circumstances. His name
will be kindly remembered by all the old-time
citizens of Grant county, whose esteem and
respect the deceased had commanded for years.
The deceased had been in the employ of
Colonel Hudson, of the Hot springs, for many
years, who remained by him in his illness and
had everything possible done to alleviate his
sufferings.
