The Mimbres hot springs are rapidly in-
creasing in reputation. They will soon become
a place of general resort for invalids and
pleasure seekers from a large scope of country.
These springs are forty-two in number, located
in Grant County, about thirty-five miles from
Hillsborough.
The Commercial club rooms will be
thrown open to the public on Monday the 18th
inst. The proprietors, Yelty & Fox, are well

and favorably known to all residents of this
community. The bar will be supplied with the
very best of wines and liquors and cigars the
market affords and money can purchase.
Today at noon the Southern Hotel will be
opened under the management of G. W. F.
Johnson, a gentleman with a reputation as a
caterer extending throughout California and
Arizona. The hotel has been re-papered and
re-furnished throughout and is as clean and
neat as a pin. The rooms are all well-lighted
and ventilated and the table will be kept up
to the top of the market. The Southern will
be a βhomeβ for families while the traveling
public will always find a hearty welcome and
the best of care.
