The Sierra Land & Cattle Company, who
occupied the lower floor of the Templar, and
were the only parties covered by insurance,
have moved their stcok of goods to the brick
building three doors down, formerly occupied
by G. W. Gregg & Co., as a storeroom. This is
the second fire the S.L.C. Co. has passed
through, having lost their large store over a
year ago in the “big fire.” Beyond this com-
pany no other efforts seem to be making to
come Phoenix-like from the ashes.
