There  are  plenty  of  troops  in  the  east  and
middle  states  whose  principal  occupation  is
shooting  at  inanimate  targets.  Why  can’t  they
be  sent  to  the  border  to  protect  the  lives  and
property  of  the  pioneers  who  are  struggling
against  many  adversities,  to  reclaim  a desert
country  and  build  up  a home  for  themselves?
Here  is  where  they  are  needed  for  real  business.
