Warrant No. 447, issued December 12, 1888, to F. P. Whitehill, for $19.00 (scratched on warrant stub) does not appear on the Com- missioner’s record as having been allowed; this number appears three times on the bond record, first as having been issued for $342.62, on page 1, opposite bonds No. 15 and 16. This number appears on the Treasurer’s record for the above amount and is registered as issued to Wm. Canada, and as presented for registration by S. P. Carpenter. This Commissioner’s record for December 12, 1888, shows that $42.62 was al- lowed to William Canada on that day. The number appears a second time on the bond record, page 2, as having been issued for $60.00, and the third time, page 2, opposite bond No. 35, as issued for $36.30.
