Albert Vega (Chicharo) – Silver City gunman and altercation victim

He also attempted to interfere in the arrest of Claudie Lewis, leading Marshal Muse to swear out a warrant for him [4]. On Wednesday evening in 1891, Vega and Herbert Lyons had an altercation in which Vega received a knife wound in the left arm; onlookers claimed Vega was intoxicated and the aggressor, and that Lyons acted in self-defense [2]. Doctor Guthrie attended to the wound, which was painful but not very serious [2].
