Big Dan
During the 1880s, Big Dan led a gang of rustlers that held the country from Duncan to Clifton in a state of abject terror [1]. The gang, numbering 75 to 100 men, included such outlaws as Curley Bill, Doc Baker, Big Dave, and Kid Lewis, all well mounted and armed [1]. Their presence made it worth a man’s life to dispute their rule [1].
