C. B. Walters: Saloon Keeper Sentenced to Death in Juarez
In May 1889, a woman of ill repute was found dead in a back alley of Juarez under suspicious circumstances [1]. It was proven that the woman had been in Walters’ saloon the night before, and witnesses testified to seeing two of the accused carrying a human body into the alley where it was found [1].
