Donaciano Gonzalez — Georgetown homicide victim, 1888

Donaciano Gonzalez’s body was discovered early Sunday morning, December 30, 1888, in the main street opposite the meat market of Storz & Henchling in Georgetown ^[1][2]. The bullet wound was in the breast above the region of the heart ^[1][2]. Carson to act as coroner ^[1][2]. An inquest held at 2 p.m. on December 31, 1888, returned a verdict: “the deceased came to his death by a shot from a pistol in the hands of Thomas Harrington” ^[1][2].
