George Forget: Escape and Capture at Separ
George Forget was a prisoner in Tombstone, charged with stealing forty pounds of ore, when he locked the sheriff in a cell, took his gun, and escaped about eighteen months before his capture [2][3]. By September 1890, he was living in Hachita and working at the American Mine [2][4]. When the sheriff came after him again, Forget had already left [2]. He stopped for water at Separ station, where Rich and Harry Armstrong captured him; Forget confessed he was the wanted man [1][3].
