Pete Jensen: Bear Creek Cowman Arrested for Embezzlement in Tucson
LEAD: Pete Jensen, formerly a Bear Creek cowman, was arrested in Tucson, Arizona, for swindling Zeckendorf & Company and charged with embezzlement. [1]

[1] After leaving Grant County, he obtained letters of introduction and credit from Lindauer & Co., which he used to purchase goods by the car load from Zeckendorf & Company, swindling them of about $2,200. [1] Upon the arrival of a car load of flour, Jensen smuggled it across the border into Mexico, which his creditors claimed was done to defraud them. [1] He was arrested and placed in jail in Tucson, charged with embezzlement and other crimes, and was unable to obtain bail. [1]
