Solano is a rapidly growing town in the extreme northeastern corner of Mora County, established on April 1, 1907 [1].
Chenault, Wilborn, and Crutcher of Tucumcari [1]. Since that time, four general stores, two hotels, two lumber yards, and a meat market opened, and several residences were built [1]. Morris in charge [1]. Morris, and Barcilio Garcia as directors, and preparations were made for a school bond issue of $1,200 [1].
